Tips For Leaving An Effective Voice Mail!

1. Get to the point quickly - 30 Seconds Or Less!

2. Expect to get voice mail. It's the norm not the exception.

3. Jot down what you want to say and rehearse it so you sound natural. Fill your voice with energy, enthusiasm and benefits.

4. Leave your phone number twice, once at the beginning and then again at the end of the call. Speak fast while giving your message and slowly while leaving your contact info.

5. Speak loudly and clearly and absolutely no "ummm's".

6. If after three messages you have received no response, you have to assume that there is no interest.

7. Perhaps follow your voice mail up with a fax and email.
